About the Film

A movie for all age groups! Especially for dog lovers!

The story of Bob’s Best Friends begins three years after Bob, an actor, has suffered an illness that has left him with the speech disorder of apraxia. In the hospital, Bob meets a therapy dog and discovers he has a special connection. During Bob’s journey, he takes care of other people’s dogs. The dogs help Bob get back to his old life and Bob helps the dogs with their individual challenges

Below are the actual dogs (Bob’s friends) that appear in our film. Enjoy these screenshots from our movie. We shot the movie in September/2024 and are now in post production.

Patch - Service dog that helped Bob through the early days of his recovery.

Edgar - Bob’s most dear friend. They fish, they chill, they discuss their desires, and their challenges.

Peanut - Spoiled and high maintenance, she prefers to be pushed in a baby stroller instead of walking. She softens under Bob’s care.

Cuddles - Our English Bulldog is embarrassed by his new name. His old name at the shelter was Max. He’s also concerned about his short lifespan left. He and Bob are about the same age, if you do the dog math.

Sandy - She gives love to everyone and improves Bob’s ‘popularity’.

Chad - Our Gen-Z dog that likes to call Bob, boomer. Bob surprises Chad with some non computer fun.

Pepper - A special gift for Bob.
